USA endine president Donald Trump on kritiseerinud endist Austraalia peaministrit ja praegust suursaadikut Ameerika Ühendriikides Kevin Ruddi, seades kahtluse alla tema luureandmed.
Londoni kanalile GB News antud intervjuus küsis endine Briti poliitik Nigel Farage president Trumpilt tema arvamust hr Ruddi kohta, kes on olnud USA vabariiklasest presidendi tuline kriitik.
Vastuseks ütles president Trump, et hr Rudd tõenäoliselt ei hoia oma positsiooni kaua, kui ta jätkab vaenulikkust.
“Kuulsin, et ta oli natuke vastik. Kuulsin, et ta ei olnud kõige heledam pirn.”
“Ma ei tea temast palju. Aga kui ta on üldse vaenulik, ei ole ta seal kaua.”
USA endine president peaks novembris toimuvatel valimistel vastamisi minema oma eelmise rivaali, ametisoleva demokraadist presidendi Joe Bideniga.
Osutades Mehhikosse ehitatavate massiivsete Hiina autotehaste tekkimisele, ütles president Trump, et Hiina kommunistlik partei viskab USA turule odavad autod ilma maksudeta, mõjutades negatiivselt majandust laiemalt.

Samal ajal hoiatas opositsiooniliidri asetäitja Sussan Ley Austraalia poliitikuid, et nad hoiduksid kommenteerimast USA poliitilist olukorda sel perioodil, öeldes, et nad peaksid ootama novembri valimiste tulemusi.
