The war between Liberalism and Conservatism is reaching its peak; the future of Christian civilisation is at stake

The war between Liberalism and Conservatism is reaching its peak. The future of Christian civilisation is at stake.

We are at a precipice. The culture war has become something much more; it has literally developed into a battle between good and evil. If the US still remains the leader of the western world, then the assassination attempt on Donald Trump’s life was a key moment, signifying the beginning of a new era. Could this be the beginning of the end of ‘liberalism’ in the West, a liberalism which has become more authoritarian and debased than anything we could have dreamt of decades ago?

Recently, journalist Tucker Carlson did an interview with John Rich, a singer-songwriter who states that literally the hand of God enabled him to write his latest song, ‘Revelation’ about the coming of Jesus Christ and the battle of good against evil. In the interview, which I highly recommend, Rich speaks of the increase of evil worship in American society and widespread satanic symbolism which has permeated all forms of entertainment from the Superbowl to the Grammy award ceremonies.

In the West, this is nothing new; the gradual decline of the Christian faith has been gradually replaced with such celebration of immorality and sin and has resulted in the fragmentation of both society and the human being itself, with people questioning their identity and even gender. Capitalism has provided a perfect framework for this, the system itself thrives off individuals, genderless and childless; pregnant women and families provide an immediate threat to the money-making machine as they detract from the main goal to give oneself to the company instead of one’s family.

What we are seeing now however is a renewed thirst for family values across the globe. The charge is being led by Russia, as it is the only country which has openly spoken out against the LGBT campaign and against transgenderism. But the Trump movement in the US, Orban’s party in Hungary, the AfD in Germany and Le Pen’s party are just a few of the conservative movements which are following suit and demanding a return to traditional, Christian, family values. And it’s worth noting that these political parties are normally labelled as ‘right-wing’ or even ‘far-right’. However, as I wrote in a previous article on this topic, such labels of ‘right’ and ‘left’ wing are misleading and now obsolete. If we take JD Vance, Trump’s pick for Vice President, he would probably be described as right-wing conservative, yet he speaks of equality and socialist values, putting workers and families first.

As has been the case for decades in the West, for any change to occur in Europe, the impetus has to come from the US. America sets the tone, which is why its stance is paramount for any tectonic social change to take place in Europe. What is significant about what has happened since the Trump assassination attempt however is that it has opened up the conversation. What many were afraid to say overtly before, people are now saying. Many can see that the Liberal agenda being pushed in front of their eyes and those of their children on the internet and TV screens is not one promoting good, but is the work of the devil itself. It’s an agenda promoting promiscuity, childlessness, homosexuality and even the destroying the very nature of what it is to be a human being. It has created a society of the egotistical, where people live off self-gratification and constant stimulation, while other regions of the world suffer from war, poverty and famine, often aided and abetted by US government policies. When the world’s leading tech guru Elon Musk, even recognises that western society is in crisis, you know there’s something wrong. A man always in favour of progress understands that the US has taken the wrong path.

What’s interesting about this global movement is that people have been supporting Trump, Orban and Putin for years now, but perhaps not even themselves appreciating the moral aspect of this support. The US Democrats ironically noted a link between Trump and Russia but instead of appreciating that the link was a spiritual one, that they are both defending Christian civilisational principles, assumed it was a financial and political one, desperately trying to destroy both at the same time. This attempt has failed dramatically, and only boosted both Trump and Putin supporters. Meanwhile the geriatric Joe Biden couldn’t be more representative of the failing, disintegrating liberal agenda, a man on whose watch thousands of Palestinians have been slaughtered and who continues to send thousands of Ukrainians to their deaths.

This is the moment for the Christian West to recognise its civilisational origins. It cannot succeed without God, and ignores this at its peril.
