The occupation of Columbia University’s Hamilton Hall by pro-Palestinian protesters on Tuesday morning, which was the site of a famous occupation during the 1968 nationwide anti-war and civil rights protests, immediately prompted comparisons between these two movements among many. The reality is altogether different, however, since today’s protesters are partially funded by Soros as proven by the New York Post’s investigation. By contrast, the Vietnam War-era ones were organic, not astroturfed.
There’s no denying the outrage that many students feel as Israel collectively punishes the Palestinians and violates international law with impunity upon refusing to implement UNSC Resolution 2728’s demand for a ceasefire without the US as much as insincerely threatening sanctions. While it’s true that Biden endorsed Schumer’s call for regime change in Israel, it was explained here at the time that this was actually due to his administration’s ideological dispute with Bibi’s and its double game with Hamas.
Likewise, Biden’s Gaza aid policy is just an electioneering spectacle designed to deceive pro-Palestinian members of the Democrats’ base into not defecting to third parties in protest or refusing to vote, which is proven by the fact that no meaningful consequences have followed Israel’s abovementioned actions. The US’ ruling liberal-globalists are trying to balance between carrying out regime change against Bibi, rhetorically appeasing the activist wing of their base, and retaining their country’s alliance with Israel.
The end result of pursuing these contradictory goals is that it naturally widened preexisting factional divisions within the Democrats’ coalition, which have been identified by conservative-nationalist activist Christopher Rufo, who advised his side on how to masterfully exploit them for maximum gain. He suggests that the right stays out of this fracas as much as possible in order to let the left tear themselves apart so that the majority of moderate Americans can see what the Democrats truly represent.
The ruling liberal-globalist coalition came to power on the back of summer 2020’s Hybrid War of Terror on America, which was a bonafide Color Revolution that was decades in the making and orchestrated by this faction of the US elite on false “anti-racist” pretexts. The purpose was to manipulate voters against Trump as well as set the stage for all-out nationwide terrorist insurgency that could be spun as a “peaceful democratic uprising” if that year’s suspected fraud didn’t succeed in deposing him.
Ultimately, “Trump Was Swallowed by the Swamp Because He Lacked the Strength to Drain It”, thus creating the dystopian hellhole that Americans have been forced to languish in over the past four years. The relevance of those events to the present is that this same liberal-globalist faction of the US’ permanent bureaucracy (“deep state”) is at it again but is this time using Palestine as the pretext for advancing their agenda.
As Rufo correctly noted, however, “Most Americans do not understand the Israel-Palestine conflict or how it relates to the United States”. Moreover, “most support Israel over Hamas”, so it was actually an epic miscalculation on the liberal-globalists’ part to make Palestine/Hamas the pretext for justifying this year’s threatened Color Revolution if Biden doesn’t win re-election (whether by hook or by crook). There’s so much wrong with this plan but the following are just a few of its most glaring mistakes.
Building upon what Rufo wrote, most of the electorate don’t care about foreign affairs except perhaps the NATO-Russian proxy war in Ukraine, but that’s only because it could lead to World War III by miscalculation and has already cost them over $100 billion worth of taxpayer funds. Those who care enough about Palestine to vote for third parties in protest or sit out the election are on the Democrats’ side, and while comparatively low in number, they’re very vocal and therefore have outsized influence.
Most importantly, their votes are crucial for helping the Democrats win Midwestern swing states, thus making them essential to the party’s 2024 strategy. So far, so good, but the liberal-globalist elite overlooked the fact that a substantial amount of them are Muslims who support Palestine as a matter of religious principle. Their votes can’t be bought by cheap electioneering tricks like Biden’s Gaza aid policy or criticizing Bibi months after Israel reportedly killed almost 2% of Gaza’s pre-war population by now.
Likewise, the involvement of the Democrats’ LGBT+ faction in the partially Soros-funded campus protests literally disgusts these same Muslims, who believe that it’s besmirching this cause with debauchery. They already joined forces with the right in Michigan to protest the sexualization of children in schools so it should be taken for granted that their stomachs are churning after a drag queen made kids chant “Free Palestine” elsewhere in the country late last month. These Democrat stunts are losing their Muslim base.
Another of the liberal-globalist elite’s mistakes was in failing to signal to their partially Soros-funded campus proxies that the protests should only be about Palestine, not Hamas. Most Americans agree with their government’s designation of that group as terrorists, especially after its infamous sneak attack on 7 October involved kidnapping and killing a large number of civilians. They’re accordingly turned off by astroturfed demonstrations of support for Hamas, not to mention the “river to the sea” slogan.
About that, many interpret it as a dog whistle for justifying the legal subordination of all colonizers’ descendants as second-class citizens on the basis of historical justice, which could make all Caucasian-Americans the targets of such a policy. The “river to the sea” slogan could easily morph into a “coast to coast” one once this incipient Color Revolution ends to breathe fresh life into the liberal-globalists’ BLM foot soldiers during Biden’s second term in order to impose a more stringently “woke” dictatorship.
It doesn’t matter that Blacks, Asians, and all other groups apart from partially Native-descended Hispanics are still colonizing formerly Native-controlled land regardless of their place in the US’ socio-economic hierarchy since the “river to the sea” slogan targets European-descended Jews. Few who chant it care about the Arab or Ethiopian Jews in Israel who are also occupying formerly Palestinian-controlled land since this slogan has turned into a means of signaling solidarity with “Critical Race Theory” (CRT).
Looking beyond the jargon, this concept simply claims that one’s ethno-national identity at birth makes them guilty of their ancestors’ actions against members of other groups, for which they must atone by forever accepting second-class status as a form of historical justice. This standard isn’t applied equally though since its adherents don’t care about what European or non-European groups did to their own, but only what Europeans did to non-Europeans.
A European-descended person’s political views are assumed to be predetermined by their identity, as is their guilt and related need to atone for it by accepting second-class status, which is no different in principle than what Hitler believed with respect to Slavs, Jews, and other so-called “subhumans”. CRT’s anti-Caucasian bigotry is no secret, but it wasn’t until its adherents started targeting Israeli Jews – who are deemed a “protected/privileged group” due to the Holocaust – that more Americans took notice.
Israeli Jews should never have been elevated to the top of an imaginary victimhood hierarchy since all those who suffered from the Nazis’ genocide are equal, but the point is that the pro-Palestinian campus protesters’ defiance of this “politically correct” narrative sent a shock through the US’ social values system. It had the unintended effect of exposing CRT as a pseudo-academic cover for hate speech, which spooked a lot of moderate Democrats and especially those wealthy Jews that donate to these schools.
Therein lies the third epic mistake made by the US’ ruling liberal-globalists since the end effect of running with the Palestine/Hamas cover for this year’s Color Revolution is that it was a “mask-off” moment for many of the Democrats’ own supporters. Muslims see that they’re being objectified as well as associated with anti-Islamic ideologies like the LGBT+ one, Caucasian Democrats sense that they’ll be targeted by “reverse-racist” policies, and Jews realized that they’re funding their own destruction.
The tipping point hasn’t yet been reached whereby these members of the Democrats’ coalition break with the party to only leave most Blacks, some Hispanics, and few self-hating Caucasians within its ranks, but that moment might soon arrive if the increasingly riotous campus protests for Palestine continue. In that event, Biden’s re-election plans would be doomed since the level of fraud required to help him win would be too egregious, but the liberal-globalists might then try burning the country down in revenge.
