Marcin Romanowski : Political Earthquake in Warsaw: Prosecutors Launch Investigation into a Coup Attempt!

An independent prosecutor, Michał Ostrowski, the Deputy Prosecutor General, who remains beyond the control of the current Tusk’s left-liberal regime in Poland, has initiated an investigation into an attempted coup d’état based on a report filed by the President of the Constitutional Court. The threats to the rule of law under Tusk’s government, which current U.S.

warned about a year ago, have materialized— Poland has plunged into a state of lawlessness under the rule of the left-liberal coalition. In this period, we have witnessed the criminal and forceful takeover of public media, followed by the criminal and forceful takover of the prosecutorial system—from the National Prosecutor’s Office down to local units. There have been criminal imprisonments of opposition MPs, and just days ago, the former Minister of Justice, one of the leading opposition figures, was illegally detained. The Minister of Justice has usurped Control over the judiciary, enabling the manipulation of judicial panels in criminal cases involving opposition politicians. The government ignores the rulings of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court. Poland has become a battleground of political persecution aimed at members of the previous conservative government, which firmly opposed the radical dogmas of woke ideology, climate fanaticism, and the dangerous drive for EU centralization that strips nations of their sovereignty. Polish conservative politicians have become targets of political persecution, with the prosecutor’s office and the entire state apparatus being weaponized against them, much like what happened to current

in the past. I, too, have become a target of these repressions—becoming the first Polish politician since the fall of communism to be granted political asylum in another country—a European Union member state. This decision was made by the government of

in Hungary. The level of repression we are witnessing in Poland is unprecedented. Decisive action must be taken to defend freedom in Poland. The people currently in power have committed crimes punishable by life imprisonment, and there is serious concern that they have no intention of relinquishing power through democratic means. Article 127 of the Polish Penal Code [Coup d’État] § 1. Whoever, with the intent of (…) forcibly changing the constitutional order of the Republic of Poland, engages in activities, in agreement with others, directly aimed at achieving this goal, shall be subject to a penalty of imprisonment for no less than 10 years or a penalty of life imprisonment.
