Austraalia haruldaste muldmetallide kaevandaja Arafura Rare Earths saab Albanese töövalitsuselt kuni 840 miljonit dollarit (556 miljonit USA dollarit), et aidata arendada haruldaste muldmetallide projekti Põhjaterritooriumil.
Föderaalvalitsus eraldab rahalisi vahendeid Austraalia esimese kombineeritud haruldaste muldmetallide kaevanduse ja rafineerimistehase loomiseks.
Arafura, mida toetab Gina Rinehart, arendab Nolansi haruldaste muldmetallide projekti, mis asub Alice Springsist 125 kilomeetrit põhja pool.
Projekti raames toodetakse haruldasi muldmetalle, mida tuntakse neodüümi ja praseodüümi (NdPr) nime all ning mida kasutatakse elektrisõidukite, tuuleturbiinide ja elektroonika magnetites.
