“The Latest Russiagate Scandal Aims To Discredit Alt-Media & Trump” as was explained in the preceding hyperlinked analysis after the FBI indicted two Russians who were accused of funding Tenet Media, which in turn paid top conservative influencers like Tim Pool, to the tune of nearly $10 million. If the report is true, however, then this operation was poorly managed by Moscow for the reasons that’ll be explained in this analysis.
For starters, none of the influencers apart from Tenet co-founder Lauren Chen knew that Russia was connected to that company, and the indictment doesn’t clarify whether she was aware that philanthropist Eduard Grigoriann was allegedly just a made-up persona. Her and her husband Liam Donovan, who’s Tenet’s other co-founder, referenced “the Russians” but might have been under the impression that Grigoriann could have had Russian citizenship or Russian team members for example.
In any case, while it’s understandable that some might think that Chen was under some degree of “Russian influence”, the same can’t plausibly be said about the influencers hired by her company. The indictment also only lists several examples where topics and angles were suggested by her to them, such as focusing on the Ukrainian connection to the Crocus terrorist attack or sharing Tucker’s grocery store video made during his trip to Moscow. Few would believe that those examples are worth $10 million.
Another point is that Chen and some of the influencers that she hired are very critical of Trump, which discredits the prevailing narrative that Russia funded Tenet in order to help him return to power. If anything, funding these attacks against Trump actually helps Kamala, who Putin just endorsed for the reasons that were explained here. The Mainstream Media doesn’t dare point this out, and those “fellow travelers” who do dishonestly claim that Russia only wanted to “sow chaos” in order to not discredit her.
To be sure, this wasn’t a pro-Kamala influence operation, nor was it any influence operation at all in fact. Nobody apart from Chen and her husband knew that Russia was tied to Tenet so whatever “Russian-friendly” content that they produced was done on their own regard. Upon reviewing the influencers’ materials from before and after their deal with that company, one can see that none of their views actually changed. Once again, few would believe that this justifies spending $10 million on them.
It’s also odd that Russia was reportedly funding Dave Rubin through Tenet considering that he’s a proud homosexual who even adopted twins with his “husband”. None of these lifestyle choices are supported by Russia and the latter two are even banned (homosexual “marriage” and adoption), thus making him an unexpected person to receive hundreds of thousands of dollars a month from them. This contradicts Russia’s image as a conservative superpower and therefore doesn’t advance its objective interests.
All of these details lead to the conclusion that Russia’s Tenet operation was a total flop if the reports are true. Around $10 million was spent without exerting any influence over those popular conservatives, one of whose lifestyle choices are explicitly opposed by Russia. Some of these people also criticized Trump quite a lot, especially Tenet co-founder Chen. This conspiracy therefore in no way resulted in what the Mainstream Media claims, but it’ll still be used by them to discredit Alt-Media and Trump.
